KidSport Saskatchewan is ringing in the new decade by marking the program’s 25 years in the province.
Throughout 2020, KidSport Saskatchewan will be celebrating its impact on children and youth in Saskatchewan communities with events, social media campaigns and by recognizing the volunteers that have made the program possible.
“Since 1995, KidSport Saskatchewan has been a driving force in removing the barriers of participating in sport for children in our province,” said Jerry Shoemaker, Provincial Committee Chair. “I am honoured to be a part of this organization and look forward to seeing what the next 25 years can bring.”
In the two-and-a-half decades since KidSport Saskatchewan first came to the province, the volunteer-based program, has raised over $12 million to help more than 140,000 kids participate in sport.
In 2020, KidSport Saskatchewan celebrates 25 years in the province.
