Get Involved

We have a number of opportunities for you to get involved with KidSport:

Donate - With your support, KidSport NWT provides children with an opportunity towards learning leadership, hard work, dedication, and self confidence, along with building healthy lifestyle habits and providing kids with the supportive network often found in a team setting. Through sport they also gain the opportunity to access mentorship and guidance from experienced sport leaders to further develop their skills in something that interests them. Your donation to KidSport NWT can be directed to a local KidSport Community in your area ... So ALL Kids Can Play.

Host An Event - Make KidSport your charity of choice for golf tournaments, weddings, birthdays or recognize someone in the community through a donation.  An event at your workplace like Jeans Fridays, dodgeball tournaments, fun runs, auctions, baseball tournaments, office hockey pools….your creativity is the only limiting factor. Donate a portion or all of the proceeds to KidSport.

Sport Club Partner - Are you a part of a local sport club and would like to make your sport more accessible to local kids who are potentially facing financial barriers? Or are wondering how best to use any funds left over at the end of the season?  Consider donating them to KidSport, we will use them to help  to get more kids involved.

KidSport NWT encourages you to partner with us in our mission of ensuring that ALL kids can play!  Please contact Kendra Wambold, 867-669-8378 or, to discuss partnership opportunities.

Become A Volunteer - Volunteers assist in a number of essential roles with KidSport NWT in a variety of fun events and activities throughout the year. Consider volunteering at one of our special events or hosting your own fundraiser to help us to raise funds and promote our program. KidSport volunteers understand the importance of sport in a child's life and believe in our mission ... So ALL Kids Can Play!

Join the Committee - The KidSport NWT Committee oversees and distributes the KidSport grant funding provided by the Federation to families in need and who qualify for funding. For more information click here.
