Stupid for Sports! Vancouver-Pemberton Run on September 23rd!

September 23 2017

Please meet the amazing Hilary Spires who is tackling a 160 kilometer run from Vancouver to Pemberton in 24 hours on September 23rd to raise money for KidSport Vancouver.

Spires played many sports growing up in Tsawwasen and went on to have a collegiate hockey career, spending two seasons at Saint Cloud State in Minnesota and then playing for the UBC Thunderbirds.

"I want all children to have the same opportunities I had growing up, so I've decided to team up with KidSport to do something really stupid"
Her goal is to raise $10,000...and not die. She's raised about $6,000 so far. Please help support Hilary's run by visiting her fundraising page below, donating, and sharing. Even a small amount can go a long way. Together we can give kids in need the gift of sport and all the benefits that follow, and there’s nothing stupid about that!
