    Lalji, who joined TSN in 1997, covers the Canucks, Lions, and Seahawks, as well as other sports stories from around the Vancouver area.

    Along with covering the Vancouver sports scene, Lalji has reported from many of the biggest sporting events in North America, including the Stanley Cup Final, Super Bowl, NBA Finals, Grey Cup, MLB and NBA All-Star Games, golf’s U.S. Open and PGA Championship, and the 2004, 2006, and 2010 Olympic Games.

    Farhan’s passion for sport goes beyond the studio and onto the playing field.

    Coach Lalji is entering his 27th year of coaching BC High School Football, his 11th as a varsity head coach. In 2012, he was named New Westminster’s Citizen of the Year and for the second time was named runner up for the NFL National High School Coach of the Year (also in 2004). Lalji was named 2010 Provincial Scholastic Coach of the Year at the BC Lions Orange Helmet Awards, is a three-time winner of the Paul Carson Broadcast & Media Awards Sports Television Reporter of the Year and in 2016 was awarded the Paul Carson Broadcast & Media award for Leadership in Philanthropy.
