KidSport North Shore held its January Blues fundraiser at the Mosquito Creek Bar & Grill on Saturday, January 29th, with all proceeds from the fundraiser directly benefiting KidSport North Shore. The evening featured a silent auction, a very popular Toonie Toss, draw prizes, and live music. A very big thank you to our sponsors and donors, as well as all the guests that attended the event to support this important cause. KidSport provides support to families, helping to remove financial barriers that prevent children from playing organized sports, such as soccer, baseball, lacrosse and football. The money raised at this fundraiser will directly help kids on the North Shore participate in these team sports. KidSport North Shore, which is a non-profit and run entirely with volunteers, assists about 155 athletes every year.
