CrossFit Anchored Athletics: The Rep-A-Thon 1000 in Support of KidSport Cowichan
Welcome to the Rep-A-Thon 1000!
Are you brave enough to tackle 1000 reps? How about 1000 burpees or strict pull-ups?!
I thought so, we knew you'd be into it ;)
The goal of this event is to raise both funds and awareness for the KidSport Cowichan chapter and to challenge yourself in the process. We believe that every child and teen should have access to sport and that money should never be a barrier.
The two movement options for the event will be burpees and strict pull-ups.
Participants who wish to take this challenge head-on may participate as a brave individual or in a team of 4 awesome people.
We will have three categories: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
Beginner - Individual / Team: 150 / 600
Intermediate - Individual / Team : 200 / 800
Advanced - Individual / Team : 300+ / 1000
* Advanced Individuals may choose to complete 300 + reps with the goal of completing the full 1000 reps.
ALL individual participants and teams are asked to fundraise a minimum donation of $100 to KidSport Cowichan. This event is open to ANYONE! A small portion of your funds will go towards refreshments, fruit, and t-shirts for each participant. All other funds will go directly to KidSport. We ask that you all bring your teams funds to the KidSport booth on race day so we can calculate the grand total and write them a "giant" check!
