Attention Attention Attention, we've got some BIG news to share!!

Calgary, Alberta — 30 May 2019 — Pembina Pipeline Corporation (“Pembina”) has joined Team
KidSport to help make it So ALL Kids Can Play. Announced today, Pembina and KidSport Alberta’s
new $450,000 partnership will help more than 1,800 kids across Alberta get off the sidelines and into a
season of sport over the next three years.
A key part of this partnership will be the inception of the Pembina Indigenous KidSport Fund, which will
continue KidSport Alberta’s work with Indigenous communities across the province. The creation of a
specific fund within KidSport means more kids in Indigenous communities will experience the lifelong
benefits of organized sport. There will also be funds distributed to KidSport chapters in communities
across Alberta, including:
● KidSport Calgary & Area
● KidSport Edmonton
● KidSport Fairview
● KidSport Fort Saskatchewan
● KidSport Grande Cache
● KidSport Grande Prairie
● KidSport Lac La Biche
● KidSport Medicine Hat
● KidSport Pincher Creek
● KidSport Ponoka
● KidSport Red Deer
● KidSport Slave Lake
● KidSport Whitecourt
● KidSport Wood Buffalo

Allan Charlesworth is Pembina’s Vice President of Technical Services and a lifelong champion of the
importance of sport. As he explains, “At Pembina, we invest in programs that help build healthier
communities. Speaking from personal experience, I know that sports can play such an important role in
kid’s life, impacting everything from physical and mental health to relationships and confidence. I’m
proud that Pembina has stepped up to the plate with KidSport to help make that benefit a reality for
even more youth across our province.”
