Calgary, Alberta — 30 May 2019 — Pembina Pipeline Corporation (“Pembina”) has joined Team KidSport to help make it So ALL Kids Can Play. Announced today, Pembina and KidSport Alberta’s new $450,000 partnership will help more than 1,800 kids across Alberta get off the sidelines and into a season of sport over the next three years.

A key part of this partnership will be the inception of the Pembina Indigenous KidSport Fund, which will continue KidSport Alberta’s work with Indigenous communities across the province. The creation of a specific fund within KidSport means more kids in Indigenous communities will experience the lifelong benefits of organized sport. There will also be funds distributed to KidSport chapters in communities across Alberta, including:

KidSport is a national non-profit organization that gets kids off the sidelines by removing the financial barriers that prevent youth from participating in organized sport.
